My mother celebrated her 95th birthday on Sunday. I want to recognize the amazing work of the entire staff at Fort Walton Beach Rehabilitation Center. My mother has been in and out of the rehab center since 2019 and I can say, without hesitation, she would not be alive today without the care she has continuously received. It is not only the care, but the compassion within every department evidenced in so many interactive situations. With our history of stays, it is always comforting to see familiar faces, smiles and welcoming comments from both the staff and people that stay in the facility long term. They are happy. I understand, of course, the situations might not be ideal for any patient, but life continues and how wonderful to be well taken care of in the most difficult of times. Bravo for jobs well done! Thank you for taking care of my mom and so many others.

I am in absolute awe of the care team here. We were in a pretty dire situation with my mother. We had minimal time to figure out a health plan and NO help from her previous rehab facility. In our moment of need, FWB rehab was there. We could not have managed alone. I am so thankful to Jayme and Shatilla in Admissions. They are absolute rockstars. Not only did they step in and take over, but they eased our minds and made my mother feel valued, respected, and heard from the moment she arrived. We are just a few days in and her progress has surpassed what she had achieved in 2 months at Pruitt Health in Panama City. What started out as a nightmare has become an absolute dream. We hate how it happened, but are so thankful it did. All love for this facility. Thank you for your commitment to the people you serve.

As a healthcare professional with over 20 years long-term care experience, this center exceeded my expectations. I was helping a close family member with the placement of a loved one and the staff went over and beyond assisting us with the placement process. I have visited their love one on many occasions and they are thriving in the center. They appear happy, well groomed, and have gained weight. Thank you for all the care and compassion you provided to my friends and their loved one.

Our Aunt has been living here a few months now. She is very happy here and is getting so much healthier! The staff is amazing and attentive. The facility is very clean, staff is informative and helpful when we visit. Her overall outlook and reaction is so positive, we know she is happy and being treated superbly!

Fort Walton Beach Rehabilitation center , staff and administrator Ashely Hodge in particular took great care of my family member while she was there being out of area I had nothing to worry she was in great hands, I wish they we're closer to me I'd had my mom there instead where she was at locally. My father has been at this rehab and they take amazing care of him. Everyone who works there is so kind and caring. They have worked so well with my father and helping my mom through this difficult time.

It says a lot when the staff has nothing but nice things to say about their administrator. The staff here and their administrator, Ashley Hodge, do a fantastic job. They go above and beyond.

I highly recommend Fort Walton Rehab as the best facility I have had my parents in. From the Administrator Ashley, who is always available to speak with to the Nurses, & CNA's which are alwaysvery caring and attentive to patient's needs.

They have been caring for a friend of mine (50+years) for several weeks. Arron Farrior was able to return home. Thanks for the top notch care provided by the Rehab Department and the entire staff. Excellent facility!!!

Our friend and neighbor was there for rehab after a stroke. The staff was very caring and attentive. They also allowed his friends to visit often and in large numbers to bring a little bit of home to him while he was recovering. Some have rated FWRC low because of the response time to the call button, but these people have unrealistic expectations. They do very well with the staff they have. They really care for their patients and it shows.

Thank you all SO much for your dedicated service to aid my father in his rehabilitation! The Speech Therapist, Ms. Victoria, and the Occupational Therapist, Ms. Lisa, have been especially kind and encouraging. Ms. Rhonda, an administrator, and Ms. Ashley, the Director, have been most accommodating and addressing all of our concerns. Additionally, the rest of the staff has been very friendly and most helpful. Thanks again for all you do!

I am have been in the rehabilitation center for over a month and receive excellent care. personnel staff are caring and compassionate. I have come a long way in my rehab and my one month here. I highly recommend Fort Walton Beach rehab.

My wife has had to be placed here twice. Over the 3 year spaned, I find the staff to be up beat, warm , attentive. I've always been called if Pam has had an accident or needing a change to her schedule. In the 3 years Pam has lived there when I need something done or looked into. It was accomplished immediately. I highly recommend this facility for your love ones.

My uncle stayed here after being hospitalized for sepsis and they took such great care of him and got him back up on his feet. Even after being released from therapy they kept him until he was finished with his IV antibiotics. Everyone here was always so friendly and helpful. My uncle was very happy here and said he wouldn't mind staying as a long term resident if needed!

Great facility! They have a caring and wonderful staff! Been to multiple facilities in the area and none compare. The rehab staff in particular go over and above for their patients. I’m very impressed with the communication and level of care they provide.

The staff is all very friendly. Everyone did a wonderful job making sure my grandmother was well taken care of. They went the extra mile.

Let me start by saying, I don't compliment people for doing their job. This facility and staff have EXCEEDED my expectations in every way. I'm 57 and have been here a month recovering from a stroke. They go above and beyond to ensure medical, mental and physical needs are always their number one priority and truly listen to the patient's and the family members to better help with rehab and level of comfort. They become an extension of the family. They have provided such a positive impact on my life I can truly only say THANK YOU for treating me with such respect and helping me regain my independence.

This facility has been amazing to my entire family. My father is a patient there currently and not only are the nurses, CNA's and therapist great, the Administrator Ashley is phenomenal! Ashley has been a true God-sent and makes time to engage her patients and their families. Ashley has a heart warming approach and has a gift for making sure patients and their families know that they are also her top priority while still performing her job meticulously. Also Ms. Bernice that answers the phones is beyond Amazing! Our whole family had a very rough time when my father was admitted and Ms. Bernice was very helpful and empathetic. Our family was truly blessed that my father was able to conduct his rehabilitation at FWB Rehabilitation Center.

I have been in long-term care facility ministry for several years. I have never seen a better facility than Ft. Walton Rehabilitation Center, it is clean and the staff and residents enjoy each other’s company. I have seen staff sing to residents, pray with residents, and genuinely care for our precious residents and each other. The corporate management team is just a phone call away and care about our staff and residents. I am proud to be a part of the Southern Healthcare Management family and Ft Walton Rehabilitation Center. Great place to be!

My mom had to come here from the hospital and her care was great the staff are always kind and caring and listening to our needs. I felt like the business office and the administrator were very helpful with any difficulties that came up while we were there. My mom had food allergies and the kitchen tried extremely hard to accommodate her. Overall like any place my mom has stayed in the past there are always things that can be improved by on, what I found to be the best thing is that they were always willing to work on it instead of trying to cover everything up like we saw at the hospital. Thank you to rehab, nursing and activities for keeping my mom motivated. Your caring shows. We had a very positive experience!

I had a loved one here a couple of months ago and the facility was great. The staff was attentive and very helpful with aiding my loved one in full recovery.I would highly reccomend this facility to anyone.

A very caring and healing atmosphere, very loving!

My name is Fred I am a resident at Fort Walton Beach Rehab facility. It is a place that cares about the patients and is family friendly, it has one of the best wound care programs in North West Florida if not the BEST! I came here for wound care 4 months ago and all of my needs is meet by the staff here from the business office all the way to the C.N.As, they have a wound care Doctor and facility Doctor that visit weekly and the Nurses can call them at anytime if needed, I have been in an out of Rehabilitation / Nursing facilities for almost 11 years from Thallahass all the way to Pensacola and I most say this is the BEST one yet!!! So if you are concern about your love one's and know that they are cared for Fort Walton Beach Rehab facility is the way to go FOR THEM believe me I know cause I'm still here.

I was here for 20 days..all staff were kind very attentive to my well being.i had a groin pulled muscle. I was in agony...in a few days I was on the road to pain free..and get on with exercise to build my strength up in my legs and upper body. Was told how well I was doing..kept my spirits up. Amazing folks...they all know how to make you feel your their top priority..to help you recover!

My father is currently residing at the FWB Rehab. for short term therapy after a horrible car accident. My family is very involved with his care and there is someone there visiting him everyday. The staff are very attentive and always address our concerns and needs right away. They schedule a care meeting with me and the PT, OT, and Speech Therapist are always working with us to ensure that we are all on the same page regarding his short and long term goals. I could not be more pleased with his care. Nurse Shawn and Speech therapist Lindsey are the best and have really made a connection with both my father and our family.
